Northstar Web Design Leeds
This site was designed and built by Northstar, a web design company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Northstar is a full service web design company providing small to medium sized business and entrepreneurs with cost effective internet marketing services.
When we were approched by Su, the task was to generate enquiries and therefore first page rankings on the search engines. The first stage was to analyse the competition and research what keywords people were using. From this data we were then able to develop the size, structure and number of pages the site would require.

- Web design and development - our approach is to make websites that are designed so stand out from the crowd while still remaining completely practical and functional. All our sites are built using the latest XHTML 1.1 and CCS 2 technology.
- Search engine optimisation - for most businesses, the prime aim of their website is to generate business. There are two aspects to this, on-site SEO which involves the coding and build of the site, and the targeting of chosen key words in the markup and meta data. Off-site SEO is the generation of links, which can be done through directory listing, blog commenting, social media and article distribution.

- Content Management Systems - We have a wide range of simple content management systems. These can be retro fitted into most existing websites, or they can be built from scratch. Whichever you choose, you'll find them simple to operate and manage - if you can use Microsoft Word, you can manage your own website, updating content, copy and images, uploading PDF files and spreadsheets.
